Add a Knowledge Check

Knowledge Checks let learners test what they've retained and see the correct and incorrect answers right away.

  1. Select + Assets. To place it between existing assets, hover over an asset and select the + icon to its right.

  2. Select Knowledge Check.

  3. Enter your question and answer options.

  4. Select the checkbox next to each correct answer. Select more than one if the question has multiple correct answers.

  5. To add another question, select Add Question.

Add an Advanced Assessment

Advanced Assessments let you score, track and report on what learners retained, using question types you can align to each learning objective.

  1. Select + Assets. To place it between existing assets, hover over an asset and select the + icon to its right.

  2. Select Assessment.

  3. Choose a question type: Fill in the Blank, Classification, Ordering, Matching or Hotspots.

Set up scoring and completion tracking

Learning Team users can control scoring at the design or template level. These settings apply to Assessment assets only, not Knowledge Checks.

  1. Select the Customize Design icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Assessments.

  3. Turn on and customize the settings you need:

    • Track Completions: Records when a learner completes the course and sends it to your LMS. You can customize the completion title, message and button text.

    • Scored Assessments: Sets the minimum passing score and the pass and fail messages, based on all Advanced Assessments in the course. The score is sent to your LMS.
