What you see on the Requests page depends on your role, your team, and the filters you have applied. Use this article to check which requests you should be able to see, and what to do if one is missing.

Troubleshooting
I can't see or find a request
Why this happens
If a request seems to be missing from your Requests page, the most common cause is a filter that's still applied. It could be a quick filter, or a filter left on in the sidebar.
Less commonly, the request may be archived, or you may not have visibility into it because of your role or business unit. See Who can see which requests.
Fix it
Work through these steps in order.
1. Check your quick filters
At the top of the Requests page, you can turn two quick filters on or off:
My Requests: shows requests where you're the requester, request owner, reviewer, or a designated approver on an approval gate.
Open: shows requests that are In Review, Waitlisted, or Pending Approval. When a request moves to Approved, Declined, Cancelled, or Completed, it no longer appears under the Open filter.
2. Clear the filter sidebar
The Filter button opens a sidebar where you can combine multiple filters, such as status, business unit, form/request type, and priority.
These filters stay applied until you clear them manually, so it's easy to forget one is still on from an earlier search.
Fix: Open the Filter sidebar, clear all filters, then search again.
3. Check whether the request is archived
Archived requests are removed from the default list to keep it clean, but they still exist. An archived request won't appear unless you switch to the Archived filter.
Fix: Enable the 'View Archived Requests' filter, or ask the request owner or an admin whether it was archived on purpose. Archived requests can be restored (unarchived) at any time.
Other reasons a request might be missing
It was deleted. Deleted requests are permanently removed and won't appear under any filter. Only Draft requests can be deleted directly from the list. Other requests are deleted through the ... or More Actions menu.
You're not a Reviewer or Owner on it, and your role doesn't otherwise give you visibility.
Still not working?
Clear all filters, both quick filters and sidebar filters.
Turn on the Archived view.
Search by request title or requester name instead of browsing.
A request I submitted isn't showing up
Why this happens
If a request you thought you submitted isn't showing up, it's probably still saved as a Draft. This happens when Save was selected instead of Submit while filling out the form.
Drafts are only visible to the requester and to anyone they've chosen to share the draft with. They aren't sent to the L&D team for review until they're submitted.
The request form has two buttons at the bottom:
Save: saves your progress as a Draft so you can finish it later.
Submit: finalizes and submits the request. This notifies the request owner and moves the request into the review queue.
Example: A requester fills out most of the form, clicks Save to come back to it later, and assumes that counts as submitting. The request stays in Draft status until they reopen it and submit it.
Fix it
Have the requester go to the Requests tab.
Look for the request in the list. If it's still in progress, it shows a Draft status.
Open the draft and make sure all required fields are filled in.
Click Submit Request at the bottom of the form.
If any required fields are missing, an error message appears at the top of the form and the missing fields are highlighted in red. Complete those fields and click Submit Request again.
Result: The request moves out of Draft status and appears in the Requests list with In Review status, and the request owner is notified.
If none of these work, contact support at support@cognota.com, or use Resources › Chat With Us. Include the request title, the approximate submission date, and the requester's name so we can help track it down.
