This update allows Admins and Power Users to associate Project Templates with specific teams, reducing noise for users who don't work with certain templates and making it easier for everyone to pick the right one when setting up a project.
Managing Templates
Admins and Power Users can now associate one or multiple teams with any given Project Template. To scope a template to specific teams:
Navigate to Settings > Configurations > Projects > Templates.
Open an existing template or create a new one.
In the Template Overview tab, assign the relevant team(s) to the template.
Save your changes.
Templates with no teams assigned will remain visible to all users.
Template Visibility When Creating Projects
Template visibility during project creation now depends on the user's role:
Admins will continue to see and select from all Project Templates.
Power Users and Learning Users will only see the Project Templates that have been associated with their team.
This applies when creating projects directly, importing projects, or creating a project from an approved request.
This release will allow teams to:
Reduce clutter in the template picker for users who don't need certain templates.
Guide teams toward the right template from the start, reducing setup errors.
Give Admins full visibility and control while keeping the experience clean for everyone else.
