You can now bulk assign tasks in the project tasks table!
With Bulk Assign, you can:
Assign owners to multiple tasks in seconds
Clean up or update task ownership just as quickly
Spend less time managing tasks and more time executing work
How it works
Bulk Assign is available from the Project Tasks table. Simply select multiple tasks, view the bulk action bar, and assign or unassign people in one action.
A few helpful details
Availability
Available only in the Project Tasks table (for now)
Task and project rules
Tasks that are On Hold or Disabled can’t be bulk assigned
Tasks in Closed or Cancelled projects can’t be bulk assigned
Permissions
Available to Admins, Team Managers, Project Owners, and Learning Team Project Participants
Notifications
Bulk assignments trigger in-app notifications only (no email notifications)
Undo
Undo isn’t included in this release, but it’s coming soon as a fast follow
Assignee selection indicators
When assigning users in bulk, you’ll see clear indicators to show assignment status across selected tasks:
✔️ Checkmark — assigned to all selected tasks
➖ Dash — assigned to some selected tasks
(No indicator) — assigned to none of the selected tasks
